and manage all the tasks and services on your behalf, covering every aspect of setting up a new IT infrastructure.
Our RimatriX5 systems architects are members of an expert solutions team designed to minimise complexity during the construction phase.
What the system architect does
During the quotation phase:
• Ascertaining the customer’s requirements
• Involving and consulting specialist project managers
– our system architects
• Technical and commercial processing of the project
request by the systems architect. Selection of a
suitable solution in collaboration with the customer
• Where applicable, involvement of other Rittal experts,
e.g. for pipeline network calculations, CFD analysis
etc.
• Calculation of the entire quote in close collaboration
with the customer and specialist in-house
departments. Where applicable, involvement of other
partners such as sandwich-panel construction
experts or piping specialists
• Central point of contact for the customer on all
aspects of the project
• Participation in construction meetings to specify
requirements in greater detail
• Cooperation with additional sub-contractors
employed by the customer (facility management,
specialist electrical
planning etc.)
• Close collaboration with the responsible specialist
departments in the customer’s firm (IT management,
facility management,
climate control technology etc.)
During the order phase:
• Assumption of project management upon placing
the order
• The system architect is the central point of contact for
every aspect of project control and implementation
• Creation of a project schedule showing each
individual stage and outlining all the works to be
carried out
• Competent back office providing commercial and
logistical support to the entire project
• Involvement of responsible construction managers
for onsite implementation guarantees optimum site
management (configuration and assembly,
commissioning, sign-off) in collaboration with
the service teams
